SQL DMV Troubleshooting Map

Many years ago, I reviewed all the DMVs for SQL 2008. At The time, I was not responsible for SQL support but relied on a third party who had two key people. We had two significant outages when they were on holiday for eight and twelve hours.

This encouraged me to look at ways to gather more detailed diagnoses before we got to that long outage.

DMVs seem to be part of the solution. As this was all new to me, I needed a way to review the information quickly. This was the start of some great documentation and artwork when mounted on a wall.

Years later I recived an email saying you want to apply for junior SQL Enginner, What do you know about SQL, I sent them the map and got the job.
