DBAs' training plan to be a subject matter expert (SME)

DBA can mean many things to many people, and the role can be wide-ranging or narrow, depending on the size of the team and organisation.

I have developed a general overview that can serve as a starting point for the aspiring DBA SME.

The skills for SME are transferable to SRE and DEVOPS.
